lellow house?

You might be wondering why I named this blog the lellow house. Since the blog is about all the things going on in and around the house, I figured why not name it after the house. My 4 year old calls our home the lellow house because, well it is yellow.  I love that she says lellow and she is already beginning to turn that l into a y. 

Other than that we are getting ready for the superbowl tonight and having a chilled out day hanging out with the fire going. The pup is really enjoying the fire!

I think everyone has agreed on tacos and of course chips, salsa, and queso.  I need to enjoy this splurge!

Here we go

And here we go.  Welcome to the blog, yet another thing I am adding to my plate of activities.  Yes on top of a family, working as an academic, working out, and trying to stay sane- I am adding a blog.  I am hoping that the blog will help with the sanity part of life and more importantly that it will be an outlet for me to talk about life here in the lellow house  (how my kids say "yellow house"). You will most likely find me talking about what we have been up to here in the house, the most recent crossfit wod and/or gear I have been doing and using, and hopefully some pics of tasty food.  Thanks for stopping in.....the journey begins here.
